The area in which we work, also recognized as “North-East Italy”, has shaped people able to improve their manual skills, talent and bright ideas to be employed first in craftsmanship and then in the industrial production. Lately the importance and focus on design has become decisive, not only as a functional need but also as a discovery of artistic elements present in our local culture.

The Vocational School for interior design Bruno Carniello in Brugnera (Pordenone-Italy) is characterized by the idea of project. To enter our school means entering another world and another way of schooling. In fact, people coming to visit our school are not only surprised by the shapes, colors and materials but also by the perseverance, passion and logic expressed by our students’ works.

These are the ingredients that have allowed, over the years, to increase the amount of ideas, designs and products of our school. Of course, only selected pieces are present at the Belgrade exhibition and in this catalogue.

The pages of this catalogue tell the story of our school and of our idea of teaching. “Made in Italy” represents our objective: forging young minds to employ new methods to give shape to the Italian creativity based on innovative designs and unusual, surprising functions.

Our school being tied to our cultural and artistic history, tries to exploit craftsmanship skills to realize new artistic ideas.
